QUITE RECENTLY I DISCOVERED THAT THE VERY DAY I WAS BORN, THOUSANDS OF ARTISTS OF ALL KINDS WERE BEING TRANSPORTED OUT OF TEREZIN, A CZECH CONCENTRATION CAMP, TO BE GASSED UPON THEIR ARRIVAL TO AUSWITCHZ THE NEXT DAY. THIS VOLUME TELLS THEIR STORIES, PRESERVES THEIR NAMES FOR POSTERITY, AND LISTS WHAT THEY WROTE SO YOU CAN FIND ANY AVAILABLE RECORDINGS.
